Care
1 siteFor one site that needs to stay up, stay safe and stay current.
- → unlimited requests, one at a time
- → each done within 2 business days
- → updates, backups, monitoring
- → security and malware cleanup
- → we manage your hosting, wherever it is
Updates, fixes, content changes and round-the-clock monitoring for one flat monthly fee. Send a request, it's done. No hourly rate, no lock-in, nobody to chase.
And yet it's the thing that quietly breaks on a Saturday, the tab you keep meaning to get to, the invoice you weren't expecting. Every one of these came through our inbox in the last year.
Most sites aren't maintained. They run on software that stops getting security patches, with no backup anyone has actually tested. Nothing happens for a long time, then something does, and the fix is billed by the hour, at emergency rates, by whoever you can find on the day.
WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow, Wix or custom code. Whoever built it, wherever it's hosted.
More and more people skip the search box and just ask. “Best Thai near Northcote that does takeaway.” “A plumber in Brunswick who'll come Saturday.” When the answer comes from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google's AI overview, it can only name businesses it has clean, consistent facts about.
We can't control what an AI says about you. We can make sure it has the right information, in the shape it reads, and we can tell you when you're missing from the answers you should be in.
| what people ask | chatgpt | gemini | |

| "thai restaurant open sunday melbourne north" | #4 | not yet | named |
| "thai catering for 40 people" | page 2 | missing | missing |
| "does [your restaurant] do vegan" | #1 | unsure | yes |
No onboarding call you have to sit through. We ask for access, you get on with your week, and you hear from us when there's something worth hearing.
Getting started takes about five minutes. Then we look over the site: what's out of date, what's exposed, what's slow, what's broken. Nothing is charged until you've seen the list.
First full backup taken and stored off-site. Uptime monitoring switched on. From here, nothing is ever changed without a restore point behind it.
Everything from the review goes into your queue as requests: updates, security hardening, the fixes you've been living with. Anything bigger than a request is quoted before it starts.
A plain-English rundown of what was done, what we found and what's worth doing next. You get one every month after that.
Pixeldev is a Melbourne development studio that has shipped thousands of websites and hundreds of applications for businesses from corner cafes to national brands. Care is the same senior work, packaged as a monthly service instead of a project with a quote attached.
For one site that needs to stay up, stay safe and stay current.
For a business that leans on its site and needs it fast and easy to find.
For a group, franchise or agency that wants every site handled by one team.

I've spent ten years building websites and software inside agencies, and the same thing happened every time a project wrapped up. The site went live, the invoice got paid, and then it sat there. Nobody updated it. Nobody checked the backups. A year later the owner would ring in a panic because something had broken, and the fix would cost more than a year of looking after it properly would have.
Care is the thing I always wished I could offer those people: a fixed price a small business can actually justify, with no hours to count or ration. Someone keeps an eye on the site so you don't have to.
If you're not sure whether it's for you, ask for a free review. I'll tell you honestly what state the site is in and whether a plan makes sense. If it doesn't, you'll still have the list.
— LiamOne thing you'd normally pay a web developer to do to an existing site. Change the hours, fix the form, add a page, swap the hero photo, update the menu, work out why it's slow. If something would take more than a couple of hours, we say so up front and either split it into a few requests or quote it.
What isn't a request: a redesign, a brand new site, a new feature or integration, a migration, bulk product uploads or writing the copy. Those are quoted at a member rate before anything starts.
You send as many requests as you like and we work through them in order, one at a time. On Care each one is done within two business days, on Care Plus the same business day, and on Studio two run at once. A steady stream of small jobs gets done about as fast as you can send them. It also means nobody can bury the queue with a redesign in instalments.
We roll it back. Every change starts with a backup, so the worst case is a few minutes of undo. Anything caused by our work is fixed free, ahead of everything else in the queue.
No, and yes. Every plan includes managing whatever host you're already on: renewals, PHP versions, SSL, the support tickets you'd rather not write. If yours is slow or overpriced, we can move you to our local servers. The migration is done as part of your plan with no downtime, and it's an option, never a condition.
The review will find it, and you'll know before you're charged. A site that's already compromised needs a proper cleanup before a plan makes sense, so we quote that as a one-off at the member rate. Once it's clean and backed up, anything that happens from then on is covered.
It's making sure that when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google's AI overview for a business like yours, the AI has accurate, well-structured information about you to draw on. We mark up your site, keep your business facts consistent everywhere, write pages that answer the questions people actually ask, and check each month whether you're being named. No one can honestly guarantee a position in an AI answer or on Google, and anyone who does is selling you something. What we can promise is that you won't be missing because your site was hard to read or your hours were wrong on Google.
Add them at $35 a month each, on any plan. Same cover, same queue. If you're adding a lot, Studio is usually the cheaper way to do it.
Not at all. Most of the sites on a plan were built by someone else. The free review tells us what we're inheriting, and the first week is usually spent tidying it up.
Send an email. Your plan stops at the end of the month, you keep every login and file, and we hand over notes on what was done so the next person isn't starting blind.
